About us
Vocational Education Centre in Bialystok (ZDZ) is non-governmental, educational institution established on the 4th of July 1945. The association has a multiannual experience and tradition in the educational and training field in the north-eastern Poland, being there the unquestionable market leader. As its mission company holds the professional training of adults – both the workers and the unemployed. Moreover, there are trainings of the youth in the most wanted, occupational domains, and also courses for the teaching personnel in the Teachers’ Training Centres.
ZDZ in Bialystok, as a first training institution in the region, obtained in 2003 Certificate of the Quality System, (in accordance with PN-EN ISO 9001: 2015 norm), and international Certificate of the Quality Control System IQNet, what additionally promotes the company and raises its prestige in the local and international arena. All this certificates, confirms and guarantees the highest level of educational and training services of ZDZ.
Courses and workshops
As a non-governmental educational organization, we provide trainings to individual clients, as well as institutions and enterprises. We run about 1100 trainings annually, in which participate about 13.000 persons. Furthermore, our schools educate each year nearly 2.000 students and listeners.

ZDZ have good experience in organization other education events for invitations and companies request e.g.:

- workshops for officials and local authorities
EXAMINATION COMMISSIONS:
ZDZ educational offer has been extended with a new form of adult education: vocational qualification courses that prepare to examinations before Local Examination Commission. The vocational qualification courses are organised both by educational centres and the ZDZ schools.
ZDZ incorporates the following Examination Commissions:
- Local Welding Commission,
- Qualifying Commission established by the Power Industry Regulation Office verifying qualifications at the maintenance or supervision of electrical and power networks, equipment and systems.

UE projects
We are actively and professionally performing social projects directed to the unemployed, workers and disabled. The main goal of the projects is human resources development, especially, promotion of entrepreneurship, promotion of employment and stimulating people at the risk of unemployment to be active on the labour market.
We focus on the growth of local enterprises, their integration and development, enforcing local communities, and extending the professional education. Our crucial social projects are financed by the EU pre-accession funds PHARE, European Social Fund, Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus+.
Within these actions, starting from 2005, we enabled free trainings and occupational counseling for more than 21.000 people and many local companies. From 2000 we successfully run more than 40 projects.
Production
In the Training and Production Workshops highly qualified, professional staff is giving practical occupational training, concerning production and service activities. By performing some simple technological operations under the close supervision of our experienced teaching personnel, students acquaint themselves with the basics of the future occupation.
Apart from the domestic market the main recipients of our wide assortment of goods are the EU countries, particularly Germany. Programme of production includes: appliances for roof works, workshop devices for DIY enthusiasts and small production plants, transformers, rectifiers for loading accumulators, accumulator chargers. High quality products at low prices – that’s our asset!
